Medication reminders that let you know when the person you care for misses a dose.
iCius reminds someone you love to take their medication, and quietly tells you if a dose is missed or a refill runs low. No check-in calls. No cameras. No nagging.
Free for personal use. Caregiver Mode is a 7-day free trial — cancel anytime.
If they need you, you'll know. If they don't, you won't hear from us.
There's no dashboard to watch. iCius stays quiet until something needs your attention — a missed dose, a refill running low — then tells you plainly.
- ✓ A missed dose, flagged only after a short grace period
- ✓ Low-supply alerts with days to spare — a refill, not an emergency
- ✓ A quiet confirmation when a dose is taken
A real alarm, not just a notification that's easy to ignore.
At dose time, iCius rings like an alarm clock, even on silent or Do Not Disturb. If the dose isn't confirmed, it repeats the reminder on its own, up to 3 times, before escalating. One tap on the notification marks the dose as taken.
- ✓ Rings through silent mode and Do Not Disturb
- ✓ Repeats automatically if the dose isn't confirmed
- ✓ “Taken”, “+15 min” and “Skip” buttons right in the notification
- ✓ Optional: also creates a native alarm in the phone's clock, one per scheduled time
Know the medication is about to run out before the person does.
For each medication, you record how many units are at home. With every confirmed dose, iCius subtracts one. When what's left gets close to zero, it warns the person — and the caregiver, if you want.
- ✓ Units on hand for each medication
- ✓ Subtracted automatically with every confirmed dose
- ✓ You set the trigger: “warn me when there are 10 days or fewer of stock left”
- ✓ The alert fires when stock crosses the low-stock threshold
- ✓ In the medication list, the count turns red when it's low
Easy for the older person. Complete for the caregiver.
Simple View swaps the screen for large “Mark as taken” buttons. Whoever sets things up keeps fine control over doses, schedules, and stock.
- ✓ Simple View: large buttons, good for low vision or motor difficulty
- ✓ Large text on the home and Simple View screens
- ✓ Read-only mode: locks adding, editing, and deleting, so someone else can look without changing anything
- ✓ Quiet hours: holds the cared-for person's reminders overnight
- ✓ Light, dark, or follow-the-system theme
Dose, directions, schedule, and duration — the way the doctor prescribed.
Each medication has its own fields. iCius schedules the reminders from them and stops on its own when the course ends.
- ✓ Name, dose, and directions (e.g. “once a day, in the morning”)
- ✓ Extra instructions (e.g. “take with water”)
- ✓ Icon and color, to recognize it at a glance
- ✓ Several times a day and specific days of the week
- ✓ Duration: ongoing, a set number of days, or until a date
- ✓ One login handles several people's medications, with separate profiles

Common questions
Is iCius free?
Yes. Tracking medication — for yourself or for someone in your home — is free and unlimited, with no ads. The only paid feature is Caregiver Mode, which links you to someone remotely and sends you alerts.
How does iCius alert a caregiver about a missed dose?
When a scheduled dose isn't confirmed, iCius reminds the person again, waits out a short grace period, and only then sends you a push notification. You won't be pinged the second a dose runs late.
Does iCius work without the internet?
Yes, personal reminders work fully offline. An internet connection is only needed to sync data between a caregiver and the person they're caring for.
Is my data private?
Your data is encrypted, never sold, and never shared. You can delete your account, and everything in it, whenever you want.
What languages does iCius support?
iCius is available in 55 languages, including right-to-left support for Arabic, Hebrew, Persian, and Urdu.
Is iCius a medical device?
No. It's a tool for remembering and organizing medication. It doesn't give medical advice and doesn't replace anything your doctor or pharmacist tells you.
